THE ENSSLIN GROUP

Our group focuses on quantum devices realized in a solid-state environment. We explore the physics of correlated electron systems in confined geometries with the goal to find new routes for quantum information processing with solid-state qubits. The quantum dots are realized by nanotechnology and fabricated in a variety of materials, from semiconductors, such as GaAs, to 2D materials, such as graphene.
